The Damcos BRC 500 (160N1099) is a hydraulic double-acting balanced rotary actuator engineered for marine, offshore, and industrial valve control applications. Manufactured under Danfoss System Hydraulik A/S (formerly Damcos, Denmark), this quarter-turn actuator provides 500Nm torque output with 90° rotary valve motion, making it ideal for butterfly valves, ball valves, and remote valve control systems.
Designed for harsh marine environments, the BRC 500 actuator is built with high-strength GGG40 cast iron, pressure-tested to 250 bar, and capable of withstanding burst pressures up to 675 bar. Its helical spline balanced rotary design ensures smooth operation, high torque efficiency, and zero radial load on valve stems, reducing wear and extending system life.
Available in standard, high-temperature (Viton), and low-temperature (T.L.T.) seal versions, the BRC 500 actuator ensures reliability from –45°C to +120°C, making it suitable for tankers, offshore oil rigs, ship repair, ballast systems, and other marine hydraulic applications.
As a leading Danfoss / Damcos actuator supplier, we stock the largest inventory of BRC series actuators for immediate global export.
